Version 1.2.6 of the KBackup backup system for UNIX has
been released.
WHAT?
KBackup is a powerful yet user-friendy backup system.
Among the many features included are:
- support for tapes, floppies and removable hard disks
- really user-friendly menu-controlled operation
- afio or tar format
- optional software compression and double buffering
- automatic handling of multi-volume archives,
detects end of tape
- quick archive directory access
- automatic detection of archive format and option settings
- optional public key encryption using pgp(1)
- support for high capacity floppy formats
- scheduled operation at a later time or regularly
- full or incremental backups
- extensive manual and documentation
- high portability to other platforms
- automatic detection of the right tape device to use
- ....many many more

CHANGES:
